Our Beliefs

We believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

– The Apostles’ Creed

We are a local church with room for people with all manners of belief and unbelief. We are comfortable with questions and skeptics and disagreement. We are better together.

Our pastors adhere to a Wesleyan theology and believe it to be a helpful way of understanding faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience.

We believe the Church is bigger than our local congregation or denomination. We are more than willing to join our siblings from various church traditions and backgrounds for the causes of the Kingdom. We also believe in, support, and champion inter-faith work for the good of our neighbors.

We believe every single person deserves dignity, safety, and welcome and are committed to making our and any church a place of inclusion despite any and all differences.

We are affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene.
